Our Services
Lawn Care Program
Our lawn care program consists of six rounds of properly timed fertilizer, weed control, and grub control to keep your yard strong and healthy all year long.
Round 1: Early Spring
- Professional high-grade, slow-release granular fertilizer with crabgrass
preventer - Commercial weed spray to control henbit, chickweed, and dandelions
Round 2: Spring
- Professional high-grade, slow-release granular fertilizer with crabgrass
preventer - Commercial weed spray to control winter annuals, henbit, chickweed and
dandelions
Round 3: Early Summer
- Professional high-grade, slow-release granular fertilizer.
- Search and spray for summer broadleaf and grassy weeds that are starting
to appear - This is the time to apply season-long grub control, preventative fungicides,
flea and tick, and mosquito treatments*
Round 4: Summer
- Professional high-grade, slow-release granular fertilizer required to
maintain summer color during the hot, dry summer periods - Spray weeds as needed
- Check for insect damage. Leave information on watering practices
Recommendations for fall lawn improvements, overseeding, spraying
bermuda in fescue lawns for reseeding in the fall
Round 5: Early Fall
- High nitrogen slow-release granular fertilizer to help lawns recover from
summer stress - Control active weeds with a commercial grade weed spray. This will
reduce annual winter weed infestations in the spring, including henbit, chickweed, and dandelions - Start lawn renovations and core-aeration*
Round 6: Late Fall
- Final application of high nitrogen, slow-release granular fertilizer of the
year to ensure a quick and early green-up in the spring. - If weeds are still present, apply a commercial grade weed spray

Core Aeration
Does your lawn have noticeable bare patches on it? This could be a sign of compacted soil. Compacted soil can deprive your grass of essential nutrients, water, and oxygen. It becomes compacted over time from too much foot traffic and thatch buildup.

Overseeding
Overseeding is the process of reseeding your lawn to improve its appearance and resistance to pests and disease. It can help fill in bare spots, and inconsistent areas, protect your grass against diseases and drought and significantly improve the health and thickness of your lawn. While overseeding is typically done after core aeration, both services can be provided together or alone.

Whether you are a commercial or residential property owner, we can install new lawns fast and easy. We overseed with only premium grade certified weed-free grass seed to give your landscape a uniform and elegant look.
Grub Control
Letting a grub problem go without intervening can spell disaster for your yard. Grub problems don’t usually go away on their own, in fact, they can get worse as each new generation of June bug or Japanese beetle lays eggs under your grass. At Legacy Lawns, we offer a comprehensive grub control application, proven to eliminate grub from your yard.
