About Us

Tyler Knackstedt, owner of Legacy Lawns, has over 20 years of experience providing both commercial and residential lawn care services. Tyler began his career with Pro-Care Lawn Service in 1998, doing commercial mowing and fertilizing in the family business. In 2001, Tyler joined a family-owned and operated national lawn franchise. Over the 16 years, he worked both in sales and as a lawn technician. In 2016, Tyler decided to continue his family’s legacy of providing high-quality lawn care services to his community by opening Legacy Lawns, a customer-centered business.

Friendly and Expert Staff

At Legacy Lawns, we are constantly looking for ways to improve our service. From the office staff to our lawn technicians, every member of the Legacy Lawn team is licensed through the state of Kansas and completes on-going training to learn the best ways of treating and improving lawn care. We don’t just maintain your lawns. We also teach you how to properly care for your lawn and answer any questions you have. After each service, our lawn care technicians will provide you with lawn maintenance tips to help you better care for and defend your lawn from pests, weeds, and diseases.
